Neoprene - How it works ?

Neoprene is the material used in the construction of the SupaTherm range of sports supports. Consisting of a closed cell neoprene rubber membrane core. Covered by a durable outer nylon blue laminate, to ‘hold in’ valuable body heat.

SupaTherm is supplied in a range of sizes to ensure the product fits the specific contours of the user – ensuring correct physical support to reduce swelling, and increase blood flow to the affected area.

Heat held in by the support provides:

• Increased blood flow and circulation around the area
• This in turn accelerates the body’s own natural healing process-relieving pain, swelling and stiffness – helping injuries to recover faster.

The process can help reduce the risk of new or recurring injuries by creating greater flexibility in muscles, tendons and ligaments.

Supports can be worn by anyone for the prevention of injuries and for the treatment and rehabilitation of an existing injury.

The products can be worn at anytime. The heat holding properties of neoprene provide a suitable product to be worn, especially during sporting activities, particularly contact sports (e.g. rugby).
